Built from Day One on Hard Work
Founded in 2018, Coyote Underground started with two guys, a truck, and a Ditch Witch vac trailer. No large fleet. No corporate backing. Just a commitment to hard work, safety, and doing the job right the first time. Every early project was earned through reliability, long days, and a reputation built job by job.
From the very beginning, we understood that underground construction is about more than installing utilities — it’s about trust. We worked in rural communities, around homes, farms, and local businesses where relationships matter. That meant treating every property with respect, communicating clearly, and leaving every site better than we found it.
Our growth didn’t happen overnight, and it didn’t happen by accident. We expanded by exceeding deadlines, being transparent with our partners, and standing behind our work. As demand increased, so did our capabilities — adding horizontal directional drills, vibratory plows, mini-excavators, fiber placement crews, and splicing services. What started as a small operation has grown into a multi-crew company serving Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, and now Texas.
While our fleet has grown and our projects have scaled to large fiber network buildouts, our foundation hasn’t changed. Safety remains our priority. Accountability remains our standard. And every project still receives the same ownership and attention we gave when it was just one truck and a vac trailer.
We built this company from the ground up — and we continue to build it the same way: with integrity, discipline, and a long-term commitment to the partners and communities we serve.
